District Suplus Sale

On Wednesday evening at the USD 253 Board of Education meeting, the Board approved the
sale of a variety of district surplus items located at Kansas Avenue. Available items will be sold
at a public sale on Friday, June 14, and Saturday, June 15. The sale will include items such as
tables, chairs, office furniture, and other miscellaneous items that are no longer needed by the
school district. This initiative helps the district manage its resources more efficiently and also
offers a chance for the community to benefit from items that are still in good condition.

“We are pleased to offer these surplus items to our community,” said Mrs. Pam Stranathan,
Assistant Superintendent of Business Operations, “This sale allows us to clear out unneeded
inventory while giving our community members access to useful items at a great value.”

Kansas Avenue is located at 315 South Market Street. Items will be sold on Friday, June 14,
from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Saturday, June 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Please note that
all items are sold as-is, and all sales are final. Buyers are responsible for transporting
purchased items off-site by the end of the sale. Purchases can be made with cash or check
