Administration, Superintendent/District

Welcome to a new and exciting 2025-26 school year!

As we begin a new school year, I want to take a moment to extend a warm welcome back to each of our students, families, and dedicated staff members.  The start of another year brings with it renewed excitement and unlimited possibilities.  It is our opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to meeting the diverse needs of each student we serve.  This “each student” mindset ensures that every individual is seen and heard, and that their specific needs are at the forefront of our work.

It is my honor to serve as your superintendent, and I feel blessed to fulfill my passion for doing what is best for kids in such an amazing community.  If you are new to the district like me, I am sure you are already discovering all of the great people and programs dedicated to supporting our students and families.  Here in USD 253, we truly live our Vision of “Building futures, one student at a time”.

We know that we cannot do this without you.  The partnership between school and family is crucial to student success.  Working together, we can foster a nurturing culture that promotes continuous improvement and maximizes learning while ensuring that both the academic and social-emotional needs of our students are being met.  I encourage all of our families to actively engage in their child’s education, attend school events, and communicate with us whenever necessary.  Your caring involvement in the education experience makes a significant difference in the lives of our students, your children.

At the heart of  USD 253 are our remarkable staff members.  Their unwavering dedication and passion for education inspire our students every day.  I am so grateful for their hard work, creativity, and commitment to excellence when it comes to working with your children.  Join me in celebrating our educators, who continually go above and beyond to ensure our students are “Engaged, Empowered, and Inspired” to reach their full potential.

As we embark on this journey together, let’s strive to create a community where every child feels valued, understood, and inspired to learn.  I am excited to see the great things we can accomplish together and look forward to working alongside you to support our students’ growth and successes.  Thank you for your continued support and commitment to our schools.

Looking forward to a great year!
