In March 2022, our Board of Education approved our five-year Strategic Plan and updated Mission Statement. Prior to that date, a lot of work took place with community members, parents, staff, administrators, and board members to develop our shared Vision, Mission Statement, Strategic Plan Priorities, and Goals. We believe and live our Mission Statement that “We Engage, We Empower, We Inspire!” We are “EmporiaProud” of our students, staff, parents, and community members. Our students are smart, capable, and motivated. We have the most amazing staff members who work in Emporia Public Schools. Our schools are welcoming, supportive and inclusive. Our students are loved for their unique talents and personalities and our staff members are loved and valued for the work they do with students and for students each and every day. We all work hard together to make a difference for our community now and to improve our collective futures. We believe that it is important to dream big and then to keep those dreams and hopes alive for our students, our staff members, our schools, and our district. Thank you to those who are currently with Emporia Public Schools and we look forward to welcoming new members of students, staff, parents, and community members to our family. We need you and our students need you - with your big, wonderful dreams.
