E.L. & Z. Irene Hopkins Foundation

The E. L. and Z. Irene Hopkins Foundation is proud to offer awards to classroom teachers!

The E.L. & Z Irene Hopkins Foundation has generously provided Hopkins Awards to all Lyon County schools for over 20 years.  In the past, they have done two types of awards: Project Awards and Individual Awards.  This year, the Foundation has decided to try something new and create a hybrid of the two. This year, the focus will be on our Classroom Teachers.  Each winner will be awarded $1500 (minus taxes) to them personally to be used at their discretion and then receive an additional $500 to spend on their classroom.
