Frequently asked questions at EHSHow do I check grades?
Students and parents can check grades using PowerSchool. Students log in using their student number and computer password.
Parents will need to create an account. A parent account allows you to view the information for one or more students with a single sign in. You can also manage your personal account preferences.
To create a parent account, enter the following information:
- Name – Your first and last name
- Email – Student notifications and correspondence related to your parent account will be sent to this email
- Desired Username – Your username is your unique PowerSchool identity
- Password – Your password must be at least 6 characters long
- Student Access Information – Information for a minimum of one student, including the student name, Access ID, Access Password, and your relationship to the student
Contact an EHS Secretary, Counselor, or Tech Support for Access ID and Access Password information.
What is CAP and what does it stand for?
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
“One of the Kansas State Student Success Outcomes is an individual plan of study for every student. To ensure the success of each student, it’s highly important to guide students and their families in identifying what success looks like to the student and then implement a process that affords students the time and the guidance to develop their own unique success plan. The individual plan of study involves both an actual product that students, their families, and school staff collaboratively develop and also a process implemented by the school to guide each student in developing her/ his plan of study.” — KSDE
CAP time will be used to develop student individual plans of study.
How can students get their computer/email login?
For login information visit EHS Tech Support in room 702 next to the security office or room 805 in the library. Faculty may request log in information via the work order site.
How do I request a transcript?
Transcripts can be requested online at parchment.com. Transcript/record directions can be found on the EHS Registar’s transcript page.
Are progress reports and grade cards mailed?
EHS encourages all parents and students to address their midterm and/or final grades via PowerSchool. Hard copies are avaliable by request from the parent or student.
What time does the school day start and end?
EHS starts at 8 am, with a 9 am late start on Wednesdays. School ends at 3:21 pm everyday.

How can I get a parking permit?
Parking permits may be picked up in the front office after the student has enrolled online and paid for the permit. Bring proof of payment , a valid drivers license, and the vehicle registration.

Email addresses can be found on the EHS Staff Directory page.
