Mrs. Knapp

     Meredith Knapp is from the Springfield, MO, area. She attended Evangel University, majoring in flute performance and minoring in English/Writing. After graduating in 2001, Mrs. Knapp worked for a publishing company in Springfield for two years. She then decided to move to Manhattan, KS, to pursue a master’s degree in music education and teaching certification. Upon completion of the program in 2006, Mrs. Knapp accepted the position of music teacher at Walnut Elementary. She has been teaching here since August 2006. Mrs. Knapp believes that music education should create in students a lifelong appreciation for music. She strives to introduce them to everything from music fundamentals to great operas. In her free time, Mrs. Knapp enjoys spending time with her husband, scrapbooking, and reading inspirational fiction.
