Emporia High School
HALL OF FAME

Criteria to be a member of the EHS Hall of Fame:

Nominees must exemplify the highest standards of citizenship, ethical conduct and moral character. They must have demonstrated outstanding and exceptional abilities. Nominee must have attended Emporia High School for a minimum of one school year.

All nominees will be judged on their significant and/or long-term contributions. Longevity, without meaningful impact, does not constitute appropriate credentials for Hall of Fame consideration.

An individual may not nominate himself/herself.

All information requested on this form and three to six required letters of recommendations must be submitted before any consideration is given to the nominee.

Nominees to be inducted will be chosen by a selection committee of adults affiliated with Emporia High. The selection will be based on post graduation accomplishments.

The nominee must have graduated ten years prior to the submission of this form.

The Hall of Fame Selection committee will review the nominations and the inductees will be notified of their selection in May.

Time Limitations

Nominees will be considered for three consecutive years. If they are not selected during that period, they will be placed in the "inactive" file. "Inactive" indicates that the nominee is no longer considered for Hall of Fame induction until re-nominated. A three-year waiting period is required before re-nomination.

INSTRUCTIONS

All information requested on this form must be completed and received by the EHS Hall of Fame Selection Committee no later than the last day of March each year.

All information submitted shall be retained by the EHS Hall of Fame Committee and not returned.
