The National Honor Society members do 20 hours of community service each year, and they must participate in one club project. Their club projects include helping with enrollment, raising money for the Salvation Army at holiday time, downtown cleanup, helping with Open House, and recycling.

Sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have a 3.6 GPA are invited to apply. They have to complete an application form listing their leadership roles, their participation in school activities, their participation in community activities, and their volunteer service. Selection is based on their grade point average, their application form, and references.
