Our Mission

The mission of the Social and Emotional Learning Leadership Team is to provide curricular and behavioral resources and strategies to administrators, classroom teachers, support staff and parents. These resources are designed to be accessible through the Respect website, and will offer links to district support personnel, resources and strategies that have been thoroughly evaluated and are from research based sources, as well as community agencies which can offer support to parents and educators. In addition to these resources there will also be links to the Social and Emotional Curriculum that is unique to our students (district?) here in Emporia. Along with the curriculum there will be suggested lessons and supporting materials that have been located, which will enhance the Social and Emotional learning that takes place in each classroom.
