Walnut School PTO Patriot Academy
Information about the before/after school care program at Walnut Elementary
Purpose
The purpose of the Walnut School PTO Before/After School Care Program is to provide a service for Walnut Students and parents. District funds are not used for this program.
Program
The activities will include games, individual and team sports, art, enrichment activities, homework assistance, stories, and some educational shows/videos.
Hours of Operation:
Before School - 7:00-8:00 am Monday through Friday
After School - 3:45-5:30 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 3:30-5:30 pm - Wednesday
The program only operates on days that school is in session, and will not be operated during Parent/Teacher Conferences, Spring Break, or InService Days.
Students must be picked up promptly at 5:30 pm or you will be billed for an additional half-day.

The program is administered by the building principal, Mr. Coltrane.

Cost/Payment
Before School - $3.00 per day
After School - $4.00 per day
After Quest - $2.00 per day
Parents are required to pay only for days that their children actually attend. Drop-ins are not accepted. Your student's enrollment form must be completed, current, and on file prior to attending.
There will be a one-time $10.00 processing fee required per new family enrollment.
Parents will be billed monthly for the time their children actually attend the program. Bills must be paid in a timely manner. Payments are due by the 5th of the month. If not paid in full by the 10th of the month, your children CANNOT ATTEND Patriot Academy care until the payment is made.
Enrollment
A Patriot Academy enrollment form must be completed prior to attendance.
