Sixth grade artwork featured in EAC exhibit

“Dream Drawings” is the theme for the art show featuring Lowther North Intermediate School students work now on display at the Emporia Art Center. Art teacher Marck Drennan said the show features pencil and ink drawings of dreams created this fall by sixth grade students
“We learned about line and contrast. We also discovered that dreams are full of original and reoccurring visions of life; great subject matter for art work,” Drennan said.
The exhibit is on display now through Jan 29 at the EAC, 618 Mechanic St. The Center is open 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tuesday – Friday and 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday. Call 343-6473 for more information.
