Parent Communication via SchoolMessenger

school messenger logo

The Emporia Public Schools uses the SchoolMessenger Notification System to provide timely communication to parents and staff members on matters such as attendance, event reminders, and campus and district emergencies. All parents will automatically receive notifications at the primary contact phone number listed on your students’ records. You also can opt-in to Text Messaging by sending a message of “Y” or “Yes” to 68453

In order to enhance our ability to accurately deliver that information, we invite parents to create a contact preference profile using SchoolMessenger’s Contact Manager web site. Activation codes are available from your school secretary or the Community Relations Office. This feature allows parents to control how you prefer to be contacted. It also works like a mailbox, giving you a place to review messages you may have missed. Find instructions for activating your account here.

Superintendent Kevin Case had the staff at the Mary Herbert Education building read the Fred Factor book this school year.. Each month each chapter was reviewed and an interactive activity was included to give staff an opportunity to share what was learned.. Today was the final review and we all had the opportunity to meet three Fred's from the Emporia Community. Each in their own special way make our jobs and our community a better place. #EmporiaProud Great leadership 🤗
