All assignments are to be scanned and emailed to sbuster@usd253.org. Send each lesson in a separate email with the picture file as an attachment. The title of the email should be: your name and the assignment (medium, advanced, personal, or critique). You may also give them to me in person if you are at the school.

• CRITIQUE FIVE DRAWINGS BY OTHER PEOPLE. Go to: http://essdackartsnacks.ning.com/photo/photo/search?q=drawing&page=2 Look through the 18 pages containing drawings and choose five. List the name of the drawing and who it is by. The critique needs to include a discussion of techniques used (pencil, marker, fine line, crosshatch, fill, color, etc.), a discussion of subject (difficulty of subject matter, accuracy of representation, quality of work, etc.), and overall impression (was the drawing well done, did it accomplish what was intended, if you liked it discuss why, if you didn't like it discuss why). Go to http://www.essdackartsnacks.org/group/learningtocritiqueart and read through the sections labeled The Elements of Art , Art Vocabulary , and The critique process to get ideas on how to critique correctly.
