General directions for writing reports.

Use correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation: this will be graded. The reports should be double-spaced and use a size 12 Times New Roman font. Reports can exceed the number of pages required but must not be shorter (for example, two pages is two full pages). Your personal opinions should not be included unless the assignment is specifically an opinion paper such as those where you make a top ten list. Opinions given in these papers should be supported by information given in the sources. For all papers, the information you use from the sources should be cited informally. That is, the website should be given in parentheses at the end of the sentence in which the information is discussed. DO NOT CUT AND PASTE FROM ANY SOURCE. This is plagiarism and will result in a failing grade for the paper. You may paraphrase, but not copy. Use your own words so that I know you have read the material and understand it.
