Building For The Future

Emporia High School Construction

This project will build a new state of the art science department that will include a storm shelter. The existing science classrooms will be renovated into new special education rooms, updated classrooms, and collaborative student learning areas. Band, music and art rooms will be renovated. Work will upgrade building mechanical and electrical systems and repair the pool.

Project Update: 9/22/2021

These last few weeks we have been working on turning over the Art area inside the existing building and throwing up steel in the addition. We were able to put the last touches on the new art area to allow for the teachers to move into their new classrooms! In addition, we continue to work on structural steel and will be following with framing as well as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-in.
